Surly for Trials??...............Shane73

I decided to set up my 14" Instigator to be as Trials friendly as possible and if I stick with it maybe next Summer I'll get a true Trials frame. I'm wondering if the BB drop will give me troubles on advanced moves??

nah it'll just be a bit harder for some moves and you will have some ground clearing problems but it shouldnt stop you from learning all the normal trials techniques. But when you'll want to go bigger(ex: pedal-up to the no bench side of a picnic table to rear wheel) that frame might give you some problems, mainly because of the lack of standover and ground clearance.

I think you should be fine for awhile. I have been playing arround with trials stuff for awhile now on my planet x jfc, total urban set up and I can pedal up to a pinic table fine. The key is to get used to your bike and if trying trials moves on a non trials bike you might have to over exxagerate movements or put more into it. I find that it's a lot more taxing to do trials on non trials bikes but otherwise it willbe just fine.
