No experience w/ a 4" fork on a trials frame. I'd think it would be good for urban and park riding, but might be too squishy for natural stuff. |

You'd have to adjust to having such a high front end and can forget about moves that involve tapping the front wheel. For more street-oriented riding--jumping, bunnyhops, drops, etc., it would probably be ok. But for sidehops, big ups, and backwheel moves it would make things more difficult. |
