HS33s still up to the job?Coyoteboy

Well I have the choice of the magura clara discs I won some 12 months back, or my current HS33 setup. What would you guys go for? I am pretty heavy (185lbs) and I always found that the discs dont seem to have much bite. Plenty of modulation for manuals but they'd never jam the wheel hard.

Personally, I wouldn't run either. V-brakes lock better, are cheaper, lighter, and less hassle. Though I might run the disc up front.

Never been a V person - they dont agree with me - too much hastle to set up perfectly (and Ive set up dozens of the little gits), dont like the lever feel, stick out too much on my tiny frame and catch my feet, even when adjusted as close as poss. HS33s were always my fave brakes on any bike til I got my hope M4s for my DH rig but I cant afford another set of them!
