Harrisburg PA, Feb 20-22
I just got the pre-reg packet in the mail, and it looks like there are going to be a few changes this year. The major change is that bicycle and unicycle trials has been moved from the West building, to the Equine area. This means that for the first time I know of, the competion will be on DIRT not pavement. I'm not sure if motorcycle trials will remain in the West building, reg packet says it will, website says Equine area.
If you have never attended motorama, it is a great time, and a fun comp.

I would wager that the moto trials will be at the same place as the bikes, as we ride the same stuff as they do and it wouldn't make sense to move the obstacles the next day.
Are you sure it's on dirt? I know the area it is being moved to is the brand new part they just built. I'm hoping it's not on the soft spongy dirt. |
| Dirt it is. | Fergie Dec 19, 2003 1:28 PM | | I think you are right about the motorized folks being with us. That makes a lot more sense in terms of logistics.
It did specifically say that the comp will be held on dirt. I'm fine with dirt, but I have a bad feeling that they mean horse droppings more then dirt, which would be a drag.
I'm still blowing black soot (and brain cells) from my nose after the diesel, two-stroke, and dust from last year. |
