|  re: xc to free ride | shaun Aug 30, 2001 9:41 PM | | The thing with changing your bike to a f/r is to make it all beefier. Shorter stem with a riser bar a good start. I found decent sized tires made a difference. Went with 2.6front/2.3rear gazzi. after that as long as your smooth enough or arent doing anything tooooo big your frame will hopefully hold up. Just start replacing parts that break with bomb proof stuff.
