Bike demo report(1 post)

Bike demo reportarch

Well, I just got back from Speedgoat (best customer service in the world) and a pretty nice test ride. I demoed a Titus Racer X, Ellsworth/Aeon ISIS, SC Bullit, and a SC Superlight. Overall for what I'm going to be doing (techincal singletrack) I'm going with the ISIS, but all of these bikes were absolutely awesome in their own way. The ISIS was unbelievably stiff which is really what set it apart from all the other bikes. Except maybe the racer x, which is also really stiff, but it just doesn't feel as plush. I'm sure some of this has to do with the fact that the ISIS had a vanilla and the racer had a float. The superlight was somewhat similar to the racer x, and a little too rough of a ride. I'm sure this was due to the fact that it was a demo and not really tailored specifically to me. The Bullit was also awesome (had a Z1 MCR on the front) and felt like you could huck it off a building. If I could have two bikes, I'd probably go with the bullit. Anyway, let me know if anyone has any specific questions about any of the bikes.

later,

-arch
