| which suspension frame?!? | mike Sep 1, 2001 11:10 AM | | I got back into mb after seven or eight years, I want to build up a full suspension bike over the winter (I know, it's early). I'm totally confused on what type of frame is the best in terms of rear suspension. Specifically, I'm baffled about which rear linkage setup is a better design than the others. There seems to be way more configurations than the motorcycle "unishock" versions I'm somewhat familiar with.
The bike's basically for xc, nothing too radical (freeride), and I'm not overly concerned with weight issues.
Any advice as to type/manufacturer is very much appreciated.
thanks,

all the different types of suspension. A price range is also
something people will need in order to help you! |

| re: which suspension frame?!? | Chris Sep 2, 2001 1:04 PM | | FYI: I tried to go to Titus.com however i did not get a bike company.
I am also looking to build a bike over the winter, however I plan to only spend aboot $600.00. Any one else have any recomendations for looking up parts for a full suspension bike. The Pre fab ones's I have seen usually have some weak points ie. the forks.
