| Help!!!!!! frame situation | Sean Jan 6, 2002 4:03 PM | | I am currently selling a Gary Fisher 2001 Sugar 2 frame and a 2001 Manitou Mars Super. I sold my hardtail to get this bike and have wanted my hardtail back ever since. I really do like the sugar, but it's not my hardtail. I am now looking to sell my sugar and purchase a custom steel hardtail. I was looking at this years Kona Explosif frame and Rocky Mountains Blizzard but I had a few people deffinatly persuade me to go custom instead. I would love anyones information on custom steel frames on what tubing to use where and how to get my measurements of tubes together if I like a Kona and a Gary Fisher geometry what do I do? Do I try and have the tubes made in between the lengths to fit? Any other information on custom steel frames would be very helpful. I was thinking of going through Brew Racing Frames in North Carolina. I am in Roanoke,Va.
thanks much,

| I have a great builder for ya.... | Shylock Jan 6, 2002 6:50 PM | | ...here in Charlottesville Va. Email me if you're interested. He isn't cheap, but he puts alot of work into his fillet brazing and lugwork. I'm currently riding a custom steel roadframe of his.
Again, email me if you like -- I'll give you his name and info and even send you a photo or two. It's always nice to be able to work one on one with your builder.
