From what i've heard and from all the people around here they're awsome bikes. The design has been around for some time and is deffinately a proven design.
I also believe that all Jamis bikes have a lifetime warrenty so if you bust it you'll get a new one as soon as they can get it out to ya.
I'm sure owners will post their opinions on here as well,

Jan 15, 2002 11:09 PM | | I'm happy with my 2001 expert except for a few problems, listed in my review. I bought only the frame. You will save a LOT of money buying a complete bike; something in retrospect I would have done, but at least I was able to pick and choose every component on it. It's taken me a year and it's still not quite done; still need a new saddle and crankset/bb. Should be finished in the next month. By then I will want a new frame! :)
The comp has a cromo rear triangle I believe, although that might not be true for 2002. So weight is the main difference between the two. |
