| Need comments on 2001 Titus Loco Motion | joemtb Jan 11, 2002 11:39 AM | | Any comments wil be greatly appreciated. Is it a good climber/downhiller. I ride a lot of twisty single track and need a good climber. Joe |
| I only ride the '00 model..... | fred³ Jan 11, 2002 6:24 PM | | and since the geometry's the same I'll say that it climbs great. Also descends great too. I live in Maine and that's all we have is twisty singletrack. Nuff said.

Perhaps some others on this site who know more about Titus can tell you how to steer clear of the frames that could break on you. Secondly, "Mountain Bike" said the rear-end was flexy for anyone over 140 lbs. They recommeded the Marin over the Loco. Third, if you want to use v-brakes rather than disks, you can't use a brake arch on the rear. This is a moot point if you plan to use disks. Other than that, you'll probably be happy. J5biker |
