| Help with Specialized Enduro FSR or others!!! | joshm8979 Apr 15, 2002 11:14 AM | | Hello everyone. I am interested in buying a specialized enduro fsr but I am afraid to due to my weight(230lbs). My dealer says that it is great for heavy people. Anyone heavy have experience with one? Should I go with something different or stick with the good old hardtail? If you suggest a differnet fs bike, my price range is $1600 or less.
Thanks for everyone's help in advance.

But as you get better and ride harder terrain, you will likely want disc brakes to stop you, especially if it's wet or muddy. 4 little rubber erasers won't stop you on a steep hill when you need them. So grab the FSR with discs, I think the Enduro has them, but Specialized confuses me with a myriad of models all designated with Alpha letters. IMO, that's a great choice for you. Make sure it fits, and good luck, Jim |

The parts(except rear shock) are better bar none. It has better rims & cranks among others. The Enduro is more suited to XC, if thats what your into but if your going to be rougher I go with the Giant AC Air Lite or AC2! Compare? |
