| SC bullit vs. giant DH comp for Freeride | DavidKieth Apr 15, 2002 1:26 PM | | I currently ride a specialized Big Hit Down Hill. When Sunday River isn't open I need a bike I can hit 8 foot walls with. Wheelie drop, and go uphill some, but can still be a back-up bike for DH, or my friend can ride it for racing. Im 6 feet 150 lbs 14 years old.
I only have the money because I just had my bar-mitzvah and rolled in the money :)
Id apreciate any input, and some pictures of ur rides would be cool too. |

| I'd have to go with the Bullit if you plan to ride up hill | Rev Bubba Apr 16, 2002 4:17 AM | | I was picked up a Giant DH last week and it was heavy, heavy, heavy, which makes sense for a DH bike, not a freeride. There could be up to a 10 lbs difference depending on how you build up the Bullit. |
| Get the Giant | gurp Apr 16, 2002 9:36 AM | | Better rear suspension design and more travel. The RS rear shock has problems though, so be prepared to swap it out. Bullit would climb better thats true, but Id rather have more travel and just use a 36 front ring. |
