|   Thoughts on 2003 Cannondale F600 | nerd
Jul 31, 2002 5:21 PM | | Hi I'm just looking for your thoughts and opinions on the new 2003 Cannondale F600. I'll be using it for trail riding some tirals and just riding around on roads. I can get it for $1500 cdn at my LBS. Is there anything else to consider at that price range I was thinking about the Gary Fisher Big Sur and the Giant Rainer.

I tried the f600 2002. It is a sweet bike. I owned the Big Sur 2000 model and it is quite nice but a tad heavier (2002 is lighter)...great geometry though. A nice comfort and controlable ride, and fast. I would suggest looking at the Kona Muni Mula. It is a very nice comparison with the Cannondale and comes with great component setup, and very light, nice geometry, bomber shocks, Avid 5s v-brakes instead of discs. I think discs are only good in totally wet conditions or mud so unless you ride in that all the time then V-brakes are great.
The MuniMula is the bike I just bought. I like the longer top tube and the quick handling it allows.
