I have a little delima on my hands. God didn't build me like the rest of ya'll so I'm having a little tough time finding a FS race bike that fits. My inseam is 35" but my torso and wingspan are only 23" and 26.5", respectively. If I get a bike that fits my inseam the top-tube is way longer than optimum, even with a smaller stem.

I considered having a custom Racer X built but I just don't have the $ right now. Should I go medium and get the proper top tube length or should I go large and get the proper height?
It's all about top tube!kristian

If you get a bike that is too long for you, you are going to have issues with back pain. My wife has the same problem. She's 5'10" with a 36" inseam so ALL of her height is in her legs. We decided on a small Superlight (Santa Cruzes are relatively short bikes anyway) and she'll have a longer seatpost. The only possible issue with this is that you might occasionally bang the inside of your knee on the top tube. Make sure that you buy an extra long seatpost because you will be putting a lot of torque on it and you want as much as possible inside the seat tube.
