i've had this for a few months now, and its very close to the final version - gonna get a thompson seat post to replace the cheapie thats on there..... was desparate to go riding!! got it set up as a trail bike, weight not too much of an issue, suspension set up soft (the forks are on 70psi, i am 185lbs), and it rides real nice. can thoruoghly recommend it to anyone who is interested in a little suspension. its really too bad ibis is no longer in business, but there are occasionally a few for sale second hand.

we ride wet, rooty slightly rocky and slightly technical trails, and its just perfect for that, especially on loose, leafy zigzagging downhills. got michelin hot s tires, excellent for our equatorial terrain, as are the fox air forks. my riding has definitelt improved due to the added confidence this bike inspires.

i used to ride an 853 steel hardtail and this is so much better.....

Sweet ride man.

How much travel does that soft tail design have?

There is an aluminum version of that frame for sale in the classified section.
