Nonetheless I rode both and liked both. The Dakar (I didnt realize there were different Dakar models, sorry)was smooth all around with LX/XT drivetrain, Deore LX crank and disc brakes. The bike was all-black (if that helps).
The Zed felt like a rocket. It too had an LX/XT drivetrain with a RaceFace Prodigy ISIS crank. Avid V-brakes.
I would appreciate comments on either bike if you have any knowledge or experience with them. |
