I live on the west coast(San Diego).
I am crossing over from BMX to mountain bikes.
I am 15 1/2 and weigh 145 pounds.
My budget is around $1500 US.
That taken care of I am looking for a new or used downhill/dual slalom bike that will be able to handle big drops and casing/looping/endoing without breaking. Please give me some help and options on some bikes that would fit my needs. I am most likely going to be looking into the used bike market since that will be the place that I will be able to get the best value for my money. But if there is a high quality bike with quality components that is new for under 1500, feel free to tell me about it. Thanks for everything!!
Ps. This will not be my first mountain bike, but it will be my frst race ready mb over 500 bux :) |
