Is Cesman the new Dr. Evil?(10 posts)

Is Cesman the new Dr. Evil?loop

What is with these boards lately? Seems like there are one or two who are determined to start flame wars over and over again.

For those of you that don't follow the "Save some weight" boards, Dr. Evil is their version of Cesman. Always arguing, always flame baiting.

Does ignoring these guys not work?

I can't read all of Cesman's posts, I don't have the time and besides, it is too painful.

But I have a speculation. He put money down on an Epic. It dawned on him somewhere in the thinking(??) part of his brain. That he made a boo boo. Now, he is driven it argue out his own insecurity on this issue, in this public fashion. This kind of aberrant behavior has been seen before on the Internet. Let's just pray he doesn't go "postal" or something.

My first advice to him
1) See a cognitive behavioral psychologist, bring in all his posts to the initial session. Show the shrink the actual products of his obsessive behavior. I'm sure there is a pill or something.
2) Buy the damn Epic, I'm sure it isn't too bad, have a good time.
3) Exercise personal discipline. Limit to two posts per day on MTBR.COM

especially given the way he will twist someone's post, then regurgitate the cesman-twisted words until they don't resemble the poster's intent. he then goes on to attack the twisted words/idea as if he's really debating with someone, when in truth he's arguing with a phantom.

if that's not psychologically screwed up, I'm sure it's at least a behavioral train wreck.

because they'll only make your ill feelings even worse. but if you're feeling daring, just look down this page and back for at least 4 pages of recent history. he's also started something over on Passion too.

sorry to hear about the flu. get well soon. oh, and check out my response to your Mojo question.

Passion's been pretty awful too. I've been skipping all the non-bike stuff, seems to be a lot of it. gonna get well so I can ride, sold the Moko² before I killed myself, and am back in love with the Bullit. If only I could make it climb like an XC bike *sigh*

but on the way down...it's a featherweight and a truly great ride.

Is he that Geller F'up on Passion?? If so he's in freefall - THUD to follow! That dude really needs professional help.

My, it's been pleasantly quiet around here, maybe too much so. LOL!

Is there any substance in this thread?cesman

No. Just a lot of unsupported, blanket charges against me.

My position is that continued debate does not equal a flame war.

I'll admit I haven't always been "polite." I can try to be more polite.

However, I doubt I'll see any reciprocity on this from some of the people who I have debated with.

I don't have a problem with people "ignoring" me. I'll just post my points and you all can leave them unrebutted if you choose.
