Klein Palomino frame size???Martin1

I am repeating my question with the topic in the right place...sorry for a double post!

I am getting the new Klein Palomino bike and I am not sure whether I should go with Large or X-large frame... The chart that Klein provides puts me right in between the two sizes....I am 6'2.
I spoke to the dealer and he recommends XL but I rode the Large Palomino and it felt good (the seatpost was waaaay up). I race XC and want the manueverability that a smaller frame offers and dont want extra weight, and extra "stretch" and all...
It just felt that I was allready enough stretched on the Large Palomino. I imagine that the XL frame has a longer stem too and obviously longer toptube.
Should I email Klein directly?
Do any of you had the same problem with this bike or other bikes?
Any input is appreciated!
Martin

I think the XL may actually fit better. I'm the same height as you, 6'2". I sat on a large, didnt ride it, but felt like I was way out over the back wheel b/c of the seat tube angle. While the XL will have a longer TT, you wont need to have so much post out and your weight will be centered better over the bike. Really the only solution with a frame that funky is to try both, but my gut says better balance on the XL.
Right, I think you are...Martin1

Hmmm...
I thought about the XL the same way... I wouldn't need to raise the seatpost so much (compared to the L frame). Therefore the overall position would be just right.
It is worthy of recognition in the Jedi archives...
Hmmmm...
