Nov 21, 2002 11:48 AM | | Looking to buy an 02 model Spec Enduro frame but I have second thoughts after reading reviews about its frame cracking problems. I've heard Spec fixed the problem in its late 02 models but should I just go ahead with the 03 models instead? Any advice is appreciated. |

Nov 21, 2002 12:07 PM | | I received my new pro frame on 8/22/02. I built it and rode it ~200 miles. The weld new the frame where the shock mounts cracked and I've been waiting almost 2 months for a new frame. They are sending a 2003 frame. I still haven't received the new frame and I have no idea when it'll get here. Specialized claims that the area I cracked has been beefed up. Your call, but I recommend getting the 2003. Good luck. |
