| Giant NRS Air or AC Air Lite | fafafooey Nov 23, 2002 2:54 PM | | Tryiong to decide which frame to go with...i'm going from a hardtail to full suspension, i mainly ride xc, no freeriding...which frame would be better...anyone know what the weight of the ac air lite is? thanks |
| well, if i go by your | Duckman Nov 23, 2002 4:59 PM | | description, and even tho i'm admittedly bias, you'd be a prime canidate for the nrs. its not a freeride in no way shape or fashion. in comparison, its lightner, less plush, more efficient while doing what its designed for, which is being a xc racers fs bike. maybe described as being "quicker" in terms of frame specs/steering geometry). i have 2 of them and couldn't be happier. but they fit my style of riding perfectly, being what most would consider very aggressive xc riding.
heres a med framed 02 air at ebay rt now, but its already up to $1600 after less then 1 day. 25.5lbs as the owner used lighter wheels, bars and disc brakes. |

| NRS AIR, you can't get the AIR Lite anymore... | Mowerman Nov 24, 2002 8:27 PM | | ...or look at other bikes (KONA).
It's damn near impossible to find an AIR Lite these days,
and GIANT isn't making anymore of them. |
