I've ridden both of these, and frankly I really can't decide. I ride technical xc, with lots of ups and downs. Any feedback appreciated.

I just picked up a 2003 Enduro. So far, so good. I ride technical XC as well (greater Boston) and I weigh as much as two hucking freeriders combined. The Enduro climbs better than I expected and goes down smooth. I feel like I can eat up the trail on that thing.

Gotta echo johnbigbooty here.

I go 2 bills and just got an '03 Enduro Expert. Love it. Climbs really well, rides smooth, really adjustable (haven't even started tweaking it yet).

Don't know much about Kona, so I can't do a comparison for you.

The Enduro is a great buy.

Word of warning: Don't know what specs you've seen, but the Expert is coming with a Psylo SL rather than the originally specified Fox, and I got Hayes HFX-9 brakes rather than the Shimano 555s, but we had a heck of a time getting the rear one set up properly (2 phone calls to get the right bleed procedure...). Personally, I think the sweet spot for the Enduro line is the Comp.

Enjoy!

I own a dawg, I have had it for 3 weeks now and ride hard every other day. The bike is a nimble beast at 28 lbs and quiet the climber. It climbs right beside my friends nrs, and corners better than my fisher.Overall the bike far excedes my expectations. The air shocks front are marzocchi mxr 100 and the rear is fox float-r, I have them dialed in now. I can suck up any root and still take the big hits. This bike can climb, pound, corner, and jump. I have no regrets. Go dawg, go big.
