What's the best FS bike under $1500???joker

I'm in the market for a FS under $1500. What should I get?
Sugar 4+, Fuel 80 or Jekyll?? Any suggestions?

take a look at the specialized stumpjumper fsr comp. its got a fox fork and rear shock, xtr rear, and it is disc ready. if you can find one, they should be right around your price range

Much better bike then the flexing chainstay Trek designs (unless you are a hard core racer type). The Jeckyl is ok, but the sub-$1500 versions are a bit porky. The Stumpjumper XC Comp is a great value- even comes with a Disc wheelset- add a set of inexpensive Discs (Shimano Deore Hydros or Avid Mechs) and you are set.

Also take a look at the Jamis Dakar line

depends on personal preference/physical size/riding style/terrain/etc/etc...."one man's meat is another man's poison" ...'nough said :)

$1200 at supergo is a pretty good deal, especially if you want a high end manufacturer for basically the same bike as an ASR which is $$.
