Question for Spider Owners(6 posts)

Question for Spider OwnersMarty
Jun 10, 2003 5:30 AM
I just got my frame. I noticed that there are no dust caps on the drive side for the lower linkage. Is this normal? There are dust caps on both sides of the upper pivot, and only on the non-drive side of the lower pivot. Could it be that the caps were not installed, or did intense leave them off because of the proximity to the cranks?

Any help is appreciated.
I'll take a look ...Tahoe Gator

I am out of town and will check it out tomorrow. I'll post a picture. What picture angle would answer your question?
No caps, Just the cap screw head showing on mine behind crank.Larsey

Thanks. I don't think a camera can capture the angle since the link is right behind the cranks. Perhaps if you took a close up that was looking from the frony derailer to the link that might do. Thanks again.
