Sugar + vs. Palomino(2 posts)

Sugar + vs. PalominoG-Live
Jun 12, 2003 8:33 AM
I have an opportunity to purchase one of these 2 bikes from a LBS where I worked in the past. Currently have a 2000 Sugar w/ 4" Duke SL fork. Would like to go to 4" rear travel as well. Which bike to choose given both seem to fit well although in differnt sizes...LG Sugar...XL Palomino.

Any comments welcome.

personally I think the maveric design is a great pedaling design which asks to be ridden hard. Klein makes great bikes (not that GF has sold out or anything like that). The negative of the palomino is the shock and its irregularity (ie difficulty in finding replacements/ limited choices), though this is true of any envolope pushing design.
