swap Scorpians for Michelin Wildgrippers on Dakar xlt 1.0?Caserider

Just picked up a new Jamis Dakar SLT 1.0. Can't seem to wipe the smile off my face. This is a great ride. The bike that I am selling has new Michelin Wildgrippers . I'm thinking of swapping the tires. Any opinions on the Michelins vs. the Hutchinson Scorpians?

are supposed to be a mud tyre only... Most people find they handle not so good on hardpack etc - dont inspire confidence etc..... I like them now how to ride em on any condition but you may like to change them to a tyre that handles more terrain nicer...

If it is wet keep the scorpions....

Thanks Trevor! I usually ride in mostly dry conditions. Sounds like it might be better to switch over to the Michelins. thx
Wildgrippers are also a mud tyre..gorse

I have put the UST versions (XL and Front S) on for winter here. Pleased with the performance so far. Seem a well constructed quality tyre, even if a little heavier than the Conti. Supergo has them for $24.
