5" fork on Tracer...???

Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but is a 5" fork overkill for a Tracer in the 4" rear mode?
Was thinking about a Fox Float 100 RLC or a Vanilla 125R.
I'll cross post in the shock section if you don't mind.
