I have an amazing custom road bike and want to get a mountain bike. I am 6'7" 265 so I am on the outer limits of most off the shelf mountain bikes. I can't get a full suspension custom bike, so I have to make a choice between custom or a full suspension, maybe a heckler??. Thoughts. Like to stay under $2500.
depends on the terrain and the type of riding u do.RVM

If it's just regular XC, I'd get a custom hardtail. But if you think you'd like to freeride, I'd suggest a full susser.

You can actually get a custom full suspension for under 2500. Check out the Double Dribble from Sycip (www.sycip.com). Their 3-4" travel DD custom is around 2000, and their 3,4,5" adjustable travel is 2200. I'm thinking custom hard tail though, and they are one of the front runners to build it for me. Cant wait.
