|   '02 Klein Attitude or '03 or '04 | Tow Path Joe
Sep 19, 2003 1:14 PM | | I noticed Klein has their 'o4 bikes on the website. I've been saving up to buy an Attitude Comp, which appears to be discontinued for '04. Now my LBS has an '02 Comp that they can't sell (Metallic pea greenish color) for about $1,200 or $1,300 cant remember. I was thinking of building up an '03 Poinsetta Red frame over the winter, but was waiting to see what's cooking for '04. The '04 Attitude with lower end stuff is listed for about the same price as the '02 hanging in the bike store. First mtb bike, old fart hitting the trails and paths so don't really need XTR. So should I opt for the '02, build an '03 frame with components more suited to my skills, or go lower end stuff with an '04 Attitude? Please lets leave other bikes out of the equation, I'm conflicted enough trying to explain to my wife why I need a 3rd bike while she says she needs a new kitchen floor. |
