Greetings Warrguru! So Trek has shipped a Fuel 100 frame to my LBS without a seatpost clamp. In order to ride this weekend, I'm gonna have to find a clamp. The bike's seat tube is like 39.5 MM wide! I can't seem to find anyone that has a seatpost clamp this big.

Any thoughts, I seem to remember that you've got a carbon fiber fuel ... did you ever buy a new clamp?
I have a 2001 Fuel 98.....WarrGuru

with a carbon rear (2002 swingarm). The main frame is aluminum. My fuel takes a 36.4 (I think)seatpost clamp. I recently bought a Salsa QR for it. It sounds like the carbon fuel takes a larger clamp (39.5?).

You may have to check with Trek on this one. Sorry.
Figured it out ...dave_tampa

Turns out the frame takes a 39.85MM clamp ... only made by Trek as far as I can find out. Found it for $7 from a LBS about an hour away.
Congrats! nmWarrGuru
