I am planning to get an I-drive 2.0 or 3.0. I am 6ft tall weighing 180lbs. Whit size do I need?

Those models have a short effective top tube meas, so I would try one on because it depends on your arms/torso type. Unfortunatly the standover clearance will be smaller for these bikes. My guess is the Large will fit you better (than Med) since it'll give you more area to move around, i.e. not too scrunched up. Good luck on your purch.
Right on the money. I-drive was/is my first serious FS bike.Danny

I bought it sight unseen off the internet on closeout. I'm 6 foot tall with relatively short torso, but long arms and legs. My initial impressions were feeling very cramped on top of it. I moved the seat all the way back but still found myself riding up on the back edge of it. Also, downhills were scarey (even more-so then a beginner should feel) as I felt way to much of my weight was forward on the front wheel. More recently, I've noticed the occasional sore knees.

I decided to educate myself a little bit on bike fit. Based on fit recommendations I'm sitting considerably further forward than is recommended. A line dropped from my knees falls almost a full inch forward of the crank...even with the seat set all the way back. I've ordered a Thompson setback seatpost (1.5" of setback) but I'm concerned whether I can get it low enough (the bend is down the post a bit.)

This is the second issue with the I-drive's fit. The center post is rather high compared to other designs and the seat post, at it's lowest, is also a bit high...even for my 32 inch inseam. My seatpost is 1/16th of an inch from interfering with the rear shock.

Having said all that I've been fairly happy with the I-drives performance. It climbs very well and I don't notice any interaction between the crank and suspension.

Good luck,
Danny

So I can't really test ride one. Just hoping someone on the board is about my size has one and tell me what size it is. I do have longer arms and legs. So I guess Large will be the size.
I'm 6 foot and mine is a large.Danny

Though, like I mentioned, I'm still tweaking mine to fit.
