...What should we expect from the changes? It looks positively non-descript , alienating....Why?

It seems every change at MTBr over the last 6 years has resulted in fewer posts and less interaction between users. I sure hope this trend will be bucked with the latest changes, but it ain't looking good.

Hey Shylock. Some good banter going on in "general discussion". I agree on your outlook and observations. I've tried the Ridemonkey forums before, but found it to be a mess and hard to find what you're looking for. Besides it being run by an idiot. And not to beat a dead horse, but I really enjoyed the old "Marketplace" before it got it's makeover. It is at most 5% of what it used to be. What they gained in charging 2 bucks, they lost 10-20 fold in interest, therefore sacrificing advertising dollars.

Feel the lack of a beer buzz...at least tonight that is...
