| Bonty Mustang disc specific rims | Louie Jun 7, 2002 8:59 AM | | Has anybody seen these in person, or better yet have a picture they can share? I didn't know they made such a rim (I'm talking about these, not the regular mustangs). |
| They look like this ... | elperro Jun 8, 2002 5:23 AM | |
So I think the only difference is that the stickers are reversed. They both seem to have machined sidewalls so they are not true "disc specific" rims. Or so I think. Regadless, mustangs are great rims. I love mine. Just built up a rear with 14g around a hayes elite.

| no, I think there is a different one | Louie Jun 9, 2002 9:40 AM | | ...it looks like there is a new version of the mustang that is disc specific on the Bontrager website. I know what the original mustangs are like. As you can see on the site, although there isn't a picture of the mustang disc, it has a different ERD which would indicate it has a different shape as well. That is what I am talking about -- it looks like there is a new, disc specific version of the Mustang. |
| "Time Tested Tough" yet brand new huh? | Bianchi4Me Jun 9, 2002 10:57 PM | | I see Trek is advertising their new rim as "Time Tested Tough". Seems like a slight contradiction... |
