Too much mud or too low PSI, worn sidewall, UST?Sj

Very muddy race in which the rear wheel was locking up w/ so much mud. After the race i noticed the side walls of the rear tire was chaffed, some areas so much that the tire is bulging. I guess little sticks and rocks caught in the mud ruined it. Definately not a tire to use in the next race for risk of sidewall blow out. Too bad, only 12hrs on the tire. Python Hutchinson, 32psi, 150lb racer.
