| Notubes - Work? | StumpedinCA Jun 12, 2002 10:28 AM | | I know this question has been asked around - the answer seems to be "yes".
I'm more concerned with flatting on the trail - Stan at notubes mentioned that a floor pump couldn't fill the tires, you would need an air compressor.
Now, I'm not in the habit of packing an air compressor (not to mention the miles of extension cord), the closest thing would be a CO2-cartridge quick-fill; so my question is: do notubes work with these cartridge pumps? Is there enough pressure in 1-2 cartridges to inflate the tire properly?
Thanks. |

I flatted the Python Ultralights 2x in 2 months while riding very rocky/jagged trails. Each time there was a big gash and the goo squirted out. I ended up throwing a tube in. I found that I could make it inflate w/a floor pump but not with a mini-pump. Your success would probably vary depending on your tire/rim combo. |
