I have 6 month old Shimano XT Disc hubs that are in good shape and was wondering if this was the best/least financially painful way to get a UST wheelset. I have several friends riding Crossmax and Crossroc UST wheels and they really like them and are not having problems, so I am focusing on mavic rims.
From what I can tell, neither Crossmax nor Crossroc offer the 32 spoke lacing.
Would appreciate any advice on this, or other UST rims.

Jun 16, 2002 7:16 PM | | the 3.1's work really well .. but be warned, even if your an experienced wheel builder they take almost an hour to lace up.. they are very finiky and take a professional - but the rims work great! |
