29" tubeless rim avail? Advantage to disc-specific rim?(6 posts)

29" tubeless rim avail? Advantage to disc-specific rim?SFrider

Besides using something like Stan's, is there a 29"/700c tubeless rim available now or in the near future?

Also, is there an advantage to using a disc-specific rim? I would assume the only advantage would be weight. Are there any available besides Alex, which is heavier than most non-disc rims. Thanks

Bontrager makes 29" tubeless wheelsets in 2 quality levels. If you just wanted rims I'd bet any Trek/Fisher/Klein dealer can order them for you.

The two 29" wheelsets listed on the Bontrager site are not tubeless.
Stans makes it's tubeless system for 29"...Fat-tire

Sorry, I misread the links, since the 29"ers were right under the tubeless I thought they were tubeless.
