Knobbies for Trek 7500(2 posts)

Knobbies for Trek 7500modirtdog

My friend has a Hybrid Trek 7500 with Bontrager Select rims and Bontrage Select Invert tires 700x38c. I don't really understand road wheel sizing but I would like to find some mountain tires for her with knobbies that would fit this bike. Anyone have any suggestions?

I would also like information on this, I own a trek 7500 hybrid as well, and I go biking w/ my friend who has a Fuel 90, he likes to go on some paths that my hybrid isn't so fit for. Not anything too hard, just my tires get stuck in places where they shouldn't. I love my setup for riding to work, but for some paths we ride, sometimes you want to go a little off the path.

Also, any opinions on a different suspension fork? I wanted something a little more extreme than a Rockshox GPS Sierra or Europa.

Thanks,
Aaron
