Ti spokes...(2 posts)

Ti spokes...Mr Tiles
Jun 9, 2003 6:18 AM
Fixing to build a set of CK Classics on a pair of 517s. I'm seriously contemplating the DT Swiss Ti spokes for this build. I'd like to know how ti spokes hold up in the long run and if there are any differences structurely to regular spokes. Are they "less" durable and would I have to be more apprehensive toward rough terrain with this combo? Any input would be helpful...

I've been using ti spokes with alu niples for 5 years and is the best inversion I coud make, have not broken any, and I'm a heavy rider and ride in all conditions. And a more confort ride. Just aply a litle more tension than in normal spokes and use the special liquid for the niples.
Now I'm using them with disc wheels, and all OK.
