F519? Arrow XCL? ~25-26mm sub-500g rims?(7 posts)

F519? Arrow XCL? ~25-26mm sub-500g rims?aosty
Jun 10, 2003 11:04 AM
I'm looking for a new rim... something more than the usual XC 400-450g 22-24mm's but less than the 550-600g F219's, Singletrack's, etc.

Current possibilities are the Mavic F519 24.5mm/460g and Arrow XCL at 26.5mm/496g... (weight/width are from spec sheets).

Any other suggestions?

Sup man. The F519 is a very decent and strong rim. This is my current rear rim on the FR. Happy for 1+ year on it. I actually have a new black F519 still wrapped in plastic. Page me on socalmtb if ya want it.

I have built several 519 wheels and they're all holding up very well. Highly recommended.
