mounting WTB Nanoraptors(2 posts)

Are WTB Nanoraptors direction specific, i.e., does it matter if you mount them with the tread design pointing forwards or backwards?

There's a "rotation" direction indicator on the sidewall but I'm wondering if it would make a diff if I mounted them the other way around.

Normally the tread is designed to give the best rolling when mounted in the directional pattern. Some people I know turn the rear tire opposite to supposedly get more dig in loose conditions-depending on your conditions. I would think that it would slow the tire down more than anything, but give it more bite overall. Try it and let us know!
