I have 2 sets of XT-rhino lites and have always regarded them as heavy hoops. After the fact, I have felt that they are overkill for my 165lbs and little drops only riding style even though I have had to have them trued once and rebuilt once over 2 1/2 years of bouncing off granite shard trails. I have always thought that when I outlasted the XT hubs that I would get kings and a lighter trail rim. Is mavic 717 or 3.1 UST a better choice? I like the wide footprint of the rhinos. Any corrections, opinions and suggestions are richly anticipated. Thanks. You guys are geniuses. |
