DeeMax wheelset(2 posts)

DeeMax wheelsetToo cold
Jan 15, 2004 7:03 PM
I have a set of 2002 DeeMax wheels with a rear freehub that's unique to Mavic. No matter the weather the freehub isn't much of a freehub - meaning that it turns hard in the reverse direction. I took it apart (expecting to see a million little ball bearings) and found it had a couple of sealed bearings and a seal at the wheel end. Both bearings spin freely but it seems that the seal is the sticky part. Any help here? These babies weren't cheep!
