| re: On line parts source | bonker Jan 13, 2002 7:46 PM | | You will encounter problems once in a while. Some more than others. For me, I haven't had ANY problems with the following places.
Here's a list in no particular order..
http://www.jensonusa.com
http://www.pricepoint.com
http://www.coloradocyclist.com
http://www.performancebike.com
http://www.cambriabike.com
http://www.bikeworld.com
http://www.webcyclery.com
DO NOT SHOP AT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE SOMETHING THERE!!!
www.universalcycles.com |

http://www.excelsports.com
http://www.branfordbike.com - Mainly road bike stuff
http://www.speedgoat.com - Great prices, just call
http://www.sheldonbrown.com - Informative articles and lots of Single Speed stuff. |

Never dealt with universalcycles, but heard a lot of horror stories. Their website looks too ghetto as well, which makes me not want to shop there. |
| re: On line parts source | roco Jan 14, 2002 9:12 AM | | Website? I've bought three or four things there because they were the only ones who even had the new products on their site. In my case love tires and FSA. I did not have a problem at all. |
| a list of many..... | Dave in Md. Jan 14, 2002 6:01 PM | | comparisonpricing.com They list the prices of components from many different shops. As to the reputation of each shop-I'd watch the responses on this site- some swear by one shop while another swears at it. Guess it all depends on your individual experience, though some do seem to get consistently bad comments. |
