You will encounter problems once in a while. Some more than others. For me, I haven't had ANY problems with the following places.
Here's a list in no particular order..
http://www.jensonusa.com
http://www.pricepoint.com
http://www.coloradocyclist.com
http://www.performancebike.com
http://www.cambriabike.com
http://www.bikeworld.com
http://www.webcyclery.com

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE SOMETHING THERE!!!

I'll add a few more...Ginz

Also, add nashbar.com to the list.

Never dealt with universalcycles, but heard a lot of horror stories. Their website looks too ghetto as well, which makes me not want to shop there.

Website? I've bought three or four things there because they were the only ones who even had the new products on their site. In my case love tires and FSA. I did not have a problem at all.
a list of many.....Dave in Md.

comparisonpricing.com They list the prices of components from many different shops. As to the reputation of each shop-I'd watch the responses on this site- some swear by one shop while another swears at it. Guess it all depends on your individual experience, though some do seem to get consistently bad comments.
