Where to buy 9sp upgrade (components)?(4 posts)

Where to buy 9sp upgrade (components)?tconn

I am looking to upgrade to 9spd. I currently have a 9 speed crank front derailleur and chain. I need an XT rear, shifters and cassette.

Should I buy them as a kit or search around for the best prices?

Well... obviously look around to find the cheapest place -but I got my 9 speed stuff from JensonUSA -I recommend them and found them to be one of the cheapest. Also recommend trying Pricepoint, Supergo and sometimes Nashbar or Performance have bargains too.
might want to check out....Dave in Md.

comparisonpricing.com Has most Shimano components listed for best price and from what store. But might want to watch where you buy, have read of some poor service from some (pricepoint comes to mind).
