There's a bicycle swap meet coming up in my city. What exactly are these? What kind of deals can I find? Is it worth my time to go? Gracias.

Generally, swap meets are the best place to find deals IF you know what you want and what if sells for new. I always go to swap meets, even drive to another state, if I am looking for something in particular. The deals are incredible but again you have to know what the item sells for new. If you are new to the sport, stick with bike shops, you won't know a good deal from a bad and could end up spend more on something you don't need. Where/when is the swap meet?
