Is there any truth to Supergo's claim that this Kore stem is better? See http://www.supergo.com/itemdisplay.asp?compflag=0&parentid=15428&company=Kore&secid=7559&subid=1815

i Consumer Alert: This one is actually more precise, stronger, and lighter than Kore models priced $100+.

Appears to be one-piece construction.

Just wondering, its price makes it hard to believe, but then it could be the reason for the sale..

The Kore Elite is a great stem; however, it is a bit heavier then some of the other Kore stems. Nonetheless, I rode one for years with no problems. Oh, the Titec Big Al is every bit as good as the Kore Elite for $20 many places.

that forged parts are stronger. Welds are not a strong. Still should be plenty strong enough for most.
Has anybody got it or it is just a fake?SG

sounds real good. Anybody got the stem for this price or it is just a fake? Thx.
Yes. But the price is $75 not $35 as advertised.EL

I catch the deal but it turn sour. I was charged $75 instead of $35. Moreover, the stem is 0 degree instead of 17 degree as advertised on the web (which is not the problem for me, but the price is the killing). Call up and they told me they had to order for me that is why $75. However, they did not tell me there would be a higher price when they told me the order part. I would have canceled it if I knew it will cost $40 more for this deal. Well, I need to send it back and get the refund. Wasted 2 weeks and have to look for a stem all over again! Not a very good experience.
