He dicked me on a helmet I ordered from him. I ordered an adult medium and he sent me a kids helmet with Mickey Mouse printed all over it. He sells a ton of stuff on eBay. Just be cautious.

Here's his ID:
gerardbech@aol.com

I'm posting this in several forums to make sure everybody sees it and doesn't get screwed like me.

WTF?? He didn't dick you over!! You bid on an auction for a "Small/Medium Micky Mouse Kid's Helmet." What did you THINK you were gonna get, huh? A $16 Giro Exodus?

Christ. Imbicile ebayers like you make the whole process a pain in the ass.
Post the link for the auction you bid on.KMan

I can stand up for Gerard (seller) in the honesty department but I can't say much for his attention to important details. I bought a brand new Schwinn Moab disc SL for my girlfriend from this guy. I didn't meet the reserve price but after some negotion I sent him a money order for $700 (no longer under ebay protection). The bike retailed for $1650. Two weeks passed and I was beginning to think I had been dupped. Finally got a response from Gerard that he accidentially sent the bike to one of his friends in a neighboring town. I looked up his friend and made a phone call to verify his story. He was telling the truth. A week after that I got the bike in the mail. It was brand new and in the condition described but the hubs and rims were cheapo WTB, not laser disc. Oh well, at 60% off retail I can't complain.

of idiot. First YOU screw up and then try to badmouth others. go back under the rock you slithered out from. Words can't describe your stupidity. Can't you read the actual title of the auction. IT SAYS: GT Mickey Mouse Bike Helmet New Kool

says it all doesn't it.

Mixed FeelingsCardiac5

I have mixed feelings on this thread - at first I was angry at the guy getting ripped off - then I was confused because it seemed like the whole story wan't being told - then I was angry again because the loser seemed to be the originator of the post and blamed the seller for his own stupidity - then I laughed because of his purchase of used biking shorts - but then...well I just realized there are a lot of people that have waayyyy to much time on their hands to research all of this. The moral of the story - don't lie on the mtbr forums because there are people who have the time to prove you wrong.
