| Good bike shop in DC area | Kieran Jul 24, 2002 7:35 PM | | Hi all,
I just moved to Arlington, VA and I need to get my bike tuned for a trip in September. Can anyone recommend a good bike shop in the area?
Thanks a lot,
Kieran. |
| Revolution Cycles in Georgetown... | Tom Collins Jul 25, 2002 6:50 AM | | has always been good to me. They've never screwed anything up, which seems to be a rarity among bike shops judging by the posts on here recently....
It's right on M St. as you come across Key Bridge. The address is something like 3535 M St, or right around there. You can't miss it.
BTW, skip the Bicycle Pro Shop, which is two doors down. My experiences with them have been less than positive. |

| College Park Bicycles by far is the best in DC metro area! | WALDO Aug 10, 2002 10:40 PM | | I live in Arlington too.
all the shops around here are expensive. Tip get a membership at REI and get discounted work done at their shop in Bailey X roads, VA. Otherwise, College Park Bikes is by far the best in the area (knowledgable staff and fair prices), but it is a pain in the ass to drive to from Arlington in traffic. -Waldo |
