Hi all,

I just moved to Arlington, VA and I need to get my bike tuned for a trip in September. Can anyone recommend a good bike shop in the area?

Thanks a lot,

Kieran.

has always been good to me. They've never screwed anything up, which seems to be a rarity among bike shops judging by the posts on here recently....

It's right on M St. as you come across Key Bridge. The address is something like 3535 M St, or right around there. You can't miss it.

BTW, skip the Bicycle Pro Shop, which is two doors down. My experiences with them have been less than positive.

Spokes Etc in Alexandria and Vienna are both great shops, really cool guys and good service.

Revolution is in Arlington and Georgetown...very good as well.

College Park Bicycles by far is the best in DC metro area!WALDO

I live in Arlington too.
all the shops around here are expensive. Tip get a membership at REI and get discounted work done at their shop in Bailey X roads, VA. Otherwise, College Park Bikes is by far the best in the area (knowledgable staff and fair prices), but it is a pain in the ass to drive to from Arlington in traffic. -Waldo
