prices that you see are actually UK prices (that could be out of date), preceded with the Rand (for demo purposes). The catalog (prices and products) still need to be updated.

So, I guess the idea is that they are a brick & mortar store in South Africa, and this is the web site that they are testing. The shopping cart works, and the inventory is fairly well filled out, and the price converter works, but they aren't actually getting orders, nor do they have email at that server (I found his address elsewhere). The prices really are too good to be true.

from what i've seen of such issues in other forums, maybe some llama will get together a class action suit and try to hold them to it. it's whiny and excessive, but if i just had to sign on to get a few things, i might as well. no big deal, but at the simplest level, they shouldn't be putting up sites like that. |
